I started this blog for a number of reasons - to advance my thinking, to learn how to effectively present ideas, and to improve my writing. Over the past year all three have occurred. Additionally, I’ve connected with many amazing people who share similar interests.
One thing that I didn’t want to do when I started the site was make money via advertising - I don’t want/need the small amount of money that it would generate and I felt that it would cheapen the site and experience. The problem is that I hate leaving money on the table.
So… shortly I’ll be adding a few ads to the site. Nothing too major. I’ve reconciled the issue in my mind by deciding to giving all proceeds to Kiva.
Money won’t be left on the table and entrepreneurs throughout the developing world will benefit. Sounds like a good move to me.
