I’ve ran my entire life. My mom likes to say that I ran before I crawled.
Over the years I’ve ran for any number of reasons: for the challenge, for new shoes (one of my dad’s favourite stories), for that one breathe in the middle of a run that hits you differently than any other, to pursue, to get away, to escape and reflect, …
Tomorrow I run to realize a life-long goal: to successfully complete a marathon.
