I don’t like this move.

Here’s why:

You’re exploding in one country: Let the buzz subside. Build up the desire. Create want.

You’re mismanaged buzz killed you in the other major market: Let expectations correct - people looking for good music will discover you.

So what do you do? Shut up?

You should.

You shouldn’t speak up.

But they did.

[While I don’t agree with the move, I hope the songs are just as great as the album. The problem? I expect them to be just as good. Tough spot for them.]
