The Struggle

The difficulty in commercializing Web 2.0 ventures becomes apparent in the content and discussion around Scott’s post, You Know You’re a Geek If You….

Here’s the task: these plays have to down-geek to a level that is very much within the potential promise of Web 1.0.

Here’s the challenge: keeping the long-term promise of Web 2.0 within the short-term confines of Web 1.0 while not alienating early-adopters.
